Pros

Some of the members/co workers are friendly

Ridiculously low pay, poor management, no enforcement of member rules.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay/retain workers better, actually ban members when they repeatedly violate the rules.

Current Employee - Wellness/Sports Director  in  Abilene, TX
Current Employee - Wellness/Sports Director in Abilene, TX

    Pros

The Members and atmosphere are great! Benefits are exceptional.

    Cons

Many Hours (50+) a week and Low Pay. Received calls even on days off. No balance of work/personal life at all.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Could be a good job if hours and pay were better. Also, too much micro management making it frustrating and draining. Needs to improve to keep good employees.

Former Employee - Sales Director in Richmond, VA

    Pros

They do great things in the community and have some great programs like "Learn to Swim."

    Cons

    Low Pay
    Overworked
    Job Insecurity
    Cult Atmosphere
    Limited Advancement Opportunities
    Upper Management is "clickish"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You seriously treat employees like children. The pay was atrocious. The hours and opportunity for advancement were incredibly sub par. Your mantra; "It's not about the income, it's about the outcome".. is a great brain washing tool you feel the need to incorporate because you know your salaries are not what they should be.
