An organization with a great purpose but pays little to its employees

Pre-school Teacher (Former Employee)
Missoula, MT

I worked at YMCA full-time for more than a year

ProsConnections with the local community and a variety of services offered, free YMCA membership

ConsVery low pay, no benefits besides the Y gym membership, high turn over

Advice to Senior ManagementIn order to decrease employee turn over and improve the Y services, particularly in the daycare business, you need to increase pay and provide more professional development
