good training, fun place to get to know the community

Cons

long hours, never let them make you a salaried employee, its only so they can work you 60-70 hours a week.

    Pros

    Easy to get hired, valuable training, good company values.

    Cons

    Poor management, low low pay for qualifications, and not very even in enforcement of company policy regarding employees.

    I would advise management to take more care in who they hire for on-site management and provide more feedback to lower management or more management training.

    I worked at YMCA part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    You can take on responsibilities as much as you want since most people are lazy. Everybody's pretty friendly, and the work isnt hard at all.

    Cons

    Very low pay, we were in charge of people's lives and were paid less than the front desk personnel. Lots of training, that's boring and pointless.
