I worked at YMCA full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Gained great communication skills, awesome co-workers, had fun!

    Cons

Children can be hard to manage at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Plan new activities each year, children get bored and then keeping them happy is a lot harder.

I worked at YMCA part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They honestly do help people. They provide a great community activity center and they help those that cannot aford school camps.

    Cons

Employees are overworked and underpayed. Also a bit of a scattered and unorganized feel to them. Maybe it was just my center.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maybe more incentives for employees. And re-organization of some of your offices.
