I have been working at YMCA part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The North Georgia YMCA is unique because it functions without a facility and therefore the people are usually nicer than those in other YMCA facilities. The programs put out by the organizations truly support the community needs and depend on community participation.

    Cons

Not competitive in compensation. Not always the best workout environment, it is not unusual to have a problem with climate control. There doesn't seem to be too many opportunities for advancement within the organization

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ensure fitness members can be comfortable during workouts.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
