I worked at YMCA as a contractor (less than an year)

Pros

Work with great people from all over the world in a fun environment. Get out of your comfort zone and experience new challenges. Make friends for life.

Cons

You do not get payed that much when considered how much you are actually working. It is basically a 24/7 job while you're at summer camp. Working with kids can be extremely frustrating at times.

I have been working at YMCA part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Great people to work with. They are very thoughtful and are always communicating with me.

    Cons

No benefits because I'm part time, but I have full time hours, so I guess that makes up for it. Also, the pay is low.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You are doing a great job, but I wish there was a way to increase the pay.
