Pros

Flexible hours, pay is decent if you have a degree (not sure otherwise), superiors willing to help, friendly work environment, there are a variety of jobs one can do, you can never be bored because something is always going on, and it's great to work in an organization that wants to support and strengthen the community

Cons

Superiors are not very organized, they forget to inform the staff things frequently, and you need to be confident to approach them to find the information you need in order to fulfill you job

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Organization, inform ALL staff through weekly/biweekly/ monthly meetings, look at current employees to see if they can step up and help in the office paper work to distribute the work load

    Pros

great staff, friendly people, amazing environment to work out and bring families to. I've been working for the YMCA for over 3 years now, and I've loved it. I'm about to graduate from college, and will be working for them again. I can't wait, and hope to move up in the company! Their mission is great, and everyone who works there is held to high standards to ensure they are constantly working with the mission in mind.

    Cons

I don't have really anything bad to say about the Y. They give people opportunities where others may not have, and allow the advancement of employees through great work ethic and leadership.
