Good place for software developers, but that's it.

Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at YP full-time (More than a year)

Pros

culture improving, but with Tucker deeply tied to Glendale, it will never be a true .com culture

Cons

Lots of politics, bad choices made - if you are in development, you are fine, but in any other area, beware.

Advice to Management

Benefits need to be bumped up to compete. Work from home policies need to improve.

I have been working at YP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Chances of making good money, lots of freedom, in an office maybe twice a week. It is like having your own business. Get paid while at home. Great work life balance.

    Cons

Very stressful, no clear leadership, micromanagement at its best, cold calling every day.

    Advice to Management

Keep the level of energy going on for better morale

Trying to play in the big leagues with a dinosaur management team.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at YP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Despite the entrenched "Telephone Company" management, the CEO is trying to change the culture. With the right leadership it could be a great place work. It's just not working yet.

    Cons

No growth potential for any new talent. They all leave after a very short time. They are swamped with cronyism from the AT&T people. Local management is resistant to any change... and suggestions of innovation is met with criticism.

    Advice to Management

Bring in some new blood with fresh ideas.
