I worked at Yahoo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I've met some of the best people at Yahoo!, many very dedicated , smart, and just good people to be around.

    Cons

When I was there, it was unfortunately a very silo'd top-heavy organization that had zero / little accountability. There were lots of political fights amongst different teams due to the matrix organizational structure. I would a vast majority of projects that required cross-team collaboration either failed or was diluted so bad in the end, the resulting product/service ultimately failed the end user.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of the matrix organization that causes political wrangling. It kills innovation and drive good people out.

    No opinion of CEO
