I have been working at Yahoo full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

The perks can't be beat! Free food! New phones! New baby policy and 5 yr sabbatical are among some of the best!

Cons

Politics can get in the way of promotions or pay increases. It's more about who you know then how you perform.

I worked at Yahoo as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

    Free food, multiple onsite events

    Cons

Lack of innovation in most of the teams, change is not welcome; in constant denial of better products in the market; no clear career path as teams are huge and have dual power centers (manager knows so little as compared to tech lead, who virtually dictates the entire project)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Not just change at higher levels, look at what is happening at lower levels.

    Neutral Outlook
