Cons

Severe issues with cronyism and lack of true recognition. You will be able to advance your career if you are good at office politics. If you are more interested in growth through technological innovation and achievement, you will most likely be stuck doing whatever you're good at without any tangible recognition.

Advice to Senior Management

Company has clearly lost direction. Yahoo is now mostly busy chasing Google, even though it's clear that Google has pulled too far ahead. Yahoo should return to its roots as an innovator and risk taker. Try things and see what works. There is still enough (for now) talent at Yahoo to come up with the next brilliant thing.
