Current Employee - Research Assistant in New Haven, CT

I have been working at Yale University full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

excellent research resources (labs, library access, excellent faculty and students). Nice, small city oriented around the university. Great access to other metro areas in Northeast- Boston, NYC...etc.

Cons

Small city-setting may not appeal to people used to large metropolitan cities. Prestige and pedigree are highly (over??) valued among faculty and students.
