    Pros

Great community overall, willing to help. Any training for a student position is usually done within the scope or time of the job. However if you are applying as a professor or adjunct professor it depends on who runs the department and what type of person they are.

    Cons

As an employer they are generally not acclimated to working with students/people with disabilities. HOWEVER if you are working in the Disability Resource Department / Learning Center that is the best place to work if you are a student, worker, or student worker with a disability.

    Advice to Management

Review the bosses of a lot of departments that interact with students on a daily basis. Definitely think about familiarizing ALL OF YOUR STAFF with Disability awareness and sensitivity training. A fair amount of the staff, inc some of the cashiers need to be a bit nicer to the students.

  2. Northern Arizona needs great community colleges-this one is a failure

    Pros

None-unless you like a dog eat dog environment

    Cons

Utter lack of support at all levels, chronic backstabbing, low expectations all around

    Advice to Management

Why bother? They do not listen
