I worked at Yodle full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Yodle's consistently profitable and growing, and there's lots of good that comes out of that. You'll have high-quality tools; generally high morale; a stream of new projects and business objectives; and a variety of perks in the office.

If you want to do good work for a mostly-ethical business, receive good compensation and live a balanced lifestyle, Yodle is great...

    Cons

...but if you're looking to rapidly advance your career, be cautious. The company has a long track record of failure when it comes to developing employees for leadership roles.

Most internal leaders are outside hires. There are personal development initiatives, but they are far better at addressing aspects of people's current roles rather than developing them for advancement in the future.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consistently bringing in leadership from outside crushes morale and drive. If you want quality leadership and motivated contributors, prove that you're as invested in your employees as you want the employees to be invested in you.
