Pros

its an interesting job you get to learn about wine, you get a lot of free bottles, for the most part you are left alone and get to manage your own time so theres a lot of freedom. they don't GPS you like other companies do. and i hate to say this, but if your a woman...numbers are a little better because you are mainly selling to men.

Cons

where to start. if you're a morning person this job is for you. 5am start times get old real fast. you have to lift a lot and deal with a bunch of liquor managers who are on power trips. so you have to be patient and always smiling. they gave a management position to a guy with no management skills and a guy because his daddy is a VP in the company. so it doesn't matter how good you are at your job, how many sales awards you've received its all politics so if you want a company where you can move up in, look elsewhere. its also a cheap company that doesn't seem to care about their employees very much. they recently cut way back on healthcare.

Advice to Management

sell the Co.

    Pros

The harder you work the more you earn. You get to work on you own the majority of the time.

    Cons

It is alot more lifting and building then selling. 95% building and unloading shipments and about 5% selling. They really under sell that in the interview.

    Advice to Management

Just be honest it is A LOT of lifting and building.

Company is going through major changes, and they don't seem to be for the better.

    Pros

You have a lot of freedom if you are a sales representative and work independently. There is good earning potential if you have a good territory. Benefits are pretty good. You are selling wine and spirits, so its an interesting field.

    Cons

New management throughout Southern California is not making company better. You get very little support, and management does not inform employees of whats going on within the company, they act like you are dealing with top secret nuclear items, when its just wine and spirits.

    Advice to Management

Just sell the company, that's the direction you're headed in anyway...
