I worked at Youthworks! as a contractor for more than a year

    Pros

Youthworks! allows you a great opportunity to travel throughout the U.S. and live a summer in a random city or town you would have otherwise possibly never done. They are incredibly organized almost to a fault. In a position where lots of things can go wrong or change, they have developed training and instructions for almost every possibility.

    Cons

Incredibly long hours. The extreme organization can sometimes seem like it keeps you in a box.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The management is great. Everyone you meet in the headquarters office really believes in the mission of this organization.

I have been working at Youthworks! part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

I got to spend my three summers with YouthWorks in communities that I never would have gotten to live in otherwise. Some of my best friends today are team members from my YouthWorks summers. Getting to see Christ move in my life, my teammates' lives, participants, and community members is unforgettable.

    Cons

The days can be very long and exhausting. However, the long hours are well worth it.
