3. Young and competitive company in a growing industry makes sure that the future is bright.

Cons

1. Its a very specialized Job. Ability to shift later to different industries within the same department is difficult.
2. Hardly any sales function. So not best for people wanting staring their careers in Sales and marketing profiles. One should join later in career.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

India is a high growth potential country with a waste geography. It is important to be present in all areas even if it is not financially viable to open a full format store in a particular area. For Such areas smaller non seating format stores can be opened focusing only on take away. This advice is specially for KFC.

I have been working at Yum!

    Pros

The pay rate is good and aside from the current lackluster health insurance program, the benefits are a cut above what I've had at other companies. There are several nice amenities, including an onsite dining room/cafeteria and a fully equipped workout facility with lockers and private showers that is on par with many private gyms. Management can have a friendly, encouraging and easygoing demeanor when they choose to.

    Cons

My employment at Yum began with a lot of promise of career advancement and professional fulfillment, all of which were quickly drowned by formidable inter-office politics. Nepotism and a "good old boy" network rule over nearly every decision made on a daily basis. The company makes strenuous efforts to train employees in its own techniques of how to think and execute regarding the most menial job task, but balks at providing outside training that is specific an indvidual's job position or skill set. HR department inserts itself into your workday way too frequently to ensure that you set high-reaching goals for yourself, but lets it be known that come review time at the end of year, no one will be rewarded with a performance ranking beyond "average." And if you happen to be one of the unfortunate few who work on materials or projects where you're exposed to how often upper management is rewarded with a significant amount of bonus pay, you'd best learn to turn a blind eye to that information very quickly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more open to empowering all employees and loosen the purse strings with regards to training and bonus compensation for the lower level associates.
