Pros – strong analytically, company values intelligent leaders who speak their mind. culture is great - recognition is very important. worldwide company, so relocation is possible if you are interested.
Cons – politics is the worst part at yum. navigating how to present an idea, how it will be received, the specifics words to use, who to pitch it to first, how to work behind the scenes, etc. just tiring after a while. company would be better served by being more direct - letting ideas and work stand for themselves.
Advice to Senior Management – reduce bureaucracy, be intentional around developing talent, adopt a rotational approach to leadership development where people get short-term assignments in other groups to broaden their experience
