I worked at ZE PowerGroup full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Stable job environment and very chilled work requirements.

Cons

The management is family operated so its very tight amongst themselves. Trust is minimal where emails, computer usage and environment is always monitored. Large company but asks everybody to do everything like a small company.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Accept changes, listen to opinions and suggestions. Pay attention to your employees. Don't micro manage in the wrong areas.

I have been working at ZE PowerGroup

    Pros

    Good for first job
    Good learning opportunities
    Relaxed casual environment

    Cons

Pay is well below industry standards
You are expected to work excessive overtime with no compensation
Family run business no room for career advancement unless you are part of the family
    No respect from senior management
Some parts of senior management do not have the expertise or qualifications to run their department
Opinions are not heard and opinions that clash with senior management have been known to result in yelling matches

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take some courses on business management
    Review industry standard pay scales
Those running IT departments should invest in some IT courses so they can take down their highschool diploma and put up a degree
