Pros

Ping pong, games, and free food distract you from not so challenging work.

Cons

Lack of opportunities for growth with a senior management that does not care about its people. Buying lots of games and giving us free food is good, but does nothing to help our professional development. Stop hiring so much people, focus on the ones that are good in the company and maybe that'll get us closer to profitability. So many people are leaving because management simply doesn't listen. It may seem all happy and cool on the outside, but on the inside...

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your people.

How on earth can you say the work is "not so challenging"?!
I think it's ridiculous to say that senior management "does not care about its people". Nothing could be further from the truth at Zillow. You're clearly a cynic if you think that when managers do nice things for employees it's somehow wrong.
I think Zillow is a great place to work. If you're so unhappy, work somewhere else. Zillow doesn't seem like the right place for you.
