I have been working at Zions Bank full-time (less than a year)

Pros

I enjoy the employee's and atmosphere. Very laid back and understanding when needs arise in ones personal life. That is very rare indeed.

Cons

Have to say organization of projects. But that can be said for most large companies. Maybe it will improve. I'm sure it will.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give contractors a chance to similarly feel equal to full-time employee's. Some of those contractors have been their for years and still feel unease. If not in the past, they do now. They work just as hard if not harder because they want to prove to management and coworkers they are valuable.

    Pros

You get paid for most everything with no threshold. Bonuses for training.

    Cons

Bad products. The products are not competitive with other banks. The company is dysfunctional. Really old technology that makes the job far more difficult than it should be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a look at what other banks are doing. You don't have to mirror other banks, but you have to be on par with them. It is hard to sell the products available knowing that the benefits that other banks offer their customers is far greater.
