1 of 1 people found this helpfulPros
Decent salaries paid assuming you negotiate well up front
Some on-site perks (fitness center/classes, monthly lunches, nightly dinner)
Convenient location in the valley
Cons
Cost of living increases/bonuses non-existent in recent years
In tough times, the first things to get cut are employee related perks (ie. 401K match)
Yearly performance reviews have no bearing or relevance
Status quo attitude and work are rewarded vs strategic thinking
Advice to Senior Management
Need to add some new blood to the management team
Old boys network is no longer able to lead
Need to seriously look at no markets, strategy vs fast-follower/low-cost leader
4 out of 5 major markets are declining, what's next????
