Cons

as a result, extremely agressive schedules and long working hours.
engineers can't afford to take vacations, because they are always behind schedule.
managers can take vacations, as they take turns driving the engineers.
managers spend too much time pretending to lead to keep their jobs. Their acts of pretending cause
extra burdens to the engineers.

if the above complaints seem too lame to some of you experienced workers, how about these:
1. no salary review or bonus for the past few years.
2. your fellow co-worker would disappear one day, and no one discussed that in public.
3. his/her responsibility would become yours, and there's no person or document to transfer the knowledge from.

So, like an imposter, Zoran exploits the image of an established, middle-sized public company. In reality, it operates like a failing, mismanaged startup sweat shop.

Advice to Senior Management

slave-driving tactics can only work short-term. new and strong management team is needed to face the challenge.
