Zurich Financial Services – “Applicant Beware”

Pros

In this economy, a company that is still operating, and the pay scale is in the average to above. The building is nice and there is parking that is adequate. The benefits are average.

Cons

This is a very "cut throat" company. Management has their favorites, and all others beware. The company promotes spying on employees from their co-workers. Management gives perks to their favorites and penalizes other employees that may request the same consideration. Management is searching for employees to terminate rather than undergo the higher premiums for layoffs. There are team managers that are not qualified for their positions, and advise the team members incorrectly. However, Management continues to raise the bar. Once the employees satisfy certain guidelines, the guidelines are made more difficult. There is a great deal of cover ups. Management and supervisors continue to handle claims inappropriately.

Advice to Senior Management

I would advise Sr. Management to clean house in regards to the supervisors and especially the claims manager of this office.
