Most decisions are made either through a committee or through one or two key execs. Thus, things move very, very slowly
Lots of management layers, too many politics
A constant "hurry up and wait" approach...everything is an emergency yet no dates/budgets are met

Advice to Senior Management

Things like Agile, SCRUM, or Lean will always escape Zurich as long as the current organizational structure remains. Remove some of the layers and distribute decision making authority more.
