Zurich Financial Services – “Zurich NA a fair place to work.”

Pros

Compared to other companies I have worked for, Zurich NA is better by far. Employees are generally treated fairly and expectations are reasonable. Work life balance is respected.

Cons

Management is not good about promoting professional growth. This gets lip service and little more. Management is also disconnected from realities of marketplace and how this related to expectations. Management is also terrible at working out poor performers - the company is loaded with them!!

Advice to Senior Management

Pay more attention to the people ón the floor' - you have a lot of well paid people who don't do much to earn the paycheck. For those who do show talent and drive - stop trying to pigeonhole people into jobs that only serve departmental 'needs'. Senior management needs a reality check on what is really happening at the desk level vs. feedback from business consultants.
