Cons

In our department, the line employees are treated with little if any respect by the management (or at least the management we ever see or have dealings with). There is little consistency in direction--the phrase "shuffling the deck chairs" comes to mind.

Advice to Senior Management

Perhaps job performance would improve if you would not change procedures every month (sometimes changing the procedure to the one that didn't work two months earlier). Also, putting people in management positions who are emotionally unstable and spend more time browbeating the employees or getting drunk on the company dime might be advisable.
