Great Experience

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)
Seattle, WA

ProsThe people are who made it a great place to work. A small company atmosphere, which had a family quality to it. Hard working and dedicated employees. Benefits were great before they started downsizing.

ConsBristol Myers Squibb (BMS) acquired ZymoGenetics back in 2010 and have made a lot of changes. Which now a scientist is not only doing thier regular job but also the job of HR, Accounting, Purchasing and IT by outsourcing admin jobs to India and the Philippines.

Advice to Senior ManagementBMS should have taken the time to observe all the operations of ZymoGenetics. Decisions were made very quickly by separate towers/divisions and they never worked together as a team within BMS to see what was best for Zymo.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
