Current Employee - Intern in Herzogenaurach (Germany)

I have been working at adidas Group as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

the campus at World of Sports in Herzoenaurach is great, very open and lovely in the summer. Decent food provided at canteen. At adidas you can meet some exceptional and very friendly people, makes settling in to a new location very easy and safe. In addition to this, the support that is present at your workplace is always there if you need it, and it can be very helpful especially for settling in. Furthermore there is a strong sense of identity and team spirit which makes the experience of working for adidas that much better. And as an intern there wasnt that great a split between employees and interns, but there was a strong intern presence and identity-we often meet up. Overall working at adidas is a great experience and i have learnt a lot there, and depending on where you work within adidas you can learn new and usefu skills.

Cons

different cultural work ethic in germany, at least at Herzo-took a bit of getting used to.

    Pros

A truly global company which offers exposure to various cultures. Well organized and structured. Robust systems in place. Nice people. The company supports some great sports events such as the Olympic and the Soccer World Cup. An exciting place for sports savvy people. In addition, it offers staff discount across all of it's product ranges.

    Cons

There is limited support for employee's further training and education. There are not many opportunities for employees to rotate among different regions and or functions.
