I have been working at adidas Group full-time

Pros

Prior to October the company was ran as two separate companies. was better company both on Adidas side and Reebok side as the heritage and culture are totally different

Cons

New leadership gives the facet they are about people but could care less about their people. favoritism shown to the small inter-circle around new leadership. the demotion of store managers and full time leaders has killed morale with the company and makes our job difficult

Poor training, 'green' employees, lack of leadership, figure it out yourself, high turn due to burnout

I worked at adidas Group full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The job gives you so many connections, just by having Adidas on your resume doors open up for you.

    Cons

More of a first job setting, not really somewhere you would want to stay long term. Co-workers are more like peers than coworkers. No one takes their job seriously, mostly because its some of their first jobs. Don't look at retail and store sales as long term, build relationships and make connections and go on about your business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Most people working in the store have no customer service experience or sales knowledge. Meeting store sales goals is rather difficult when no one in the store knows how to sell. Focus more on that in the hiring process. I've seen co-workers varying from other sales associates or team leads, just be ridiculously rude to the customer. So instead of pushing sales goals, try pushing customer service and dealing better customer service than Nike and Reebok, guarantee that turns over more profit, instead of hiring more and more people that know nothing about the job, sales, or sports apparel.
