Pros

Free Bagel Wednesdays

The eBay name takes you a long way on resumes.

Cons

No management transparency. Secretive about promotions and horrid working conditions. 2-3 people stacked in cubes with no cube walls. Many unspoken rules about how your performance is measured and how promotions are rewarded.

Advice to Senior Management

more transparency. learn how to manage downward rather than only upwards. most managers were promoted in short timeframe and therefore may lack experience in managing people.

This is so true. Managers are only looking out for themselves and could care less about their employees. It creates a tense working environment where people become unmotivated and frustrated and lowers productivity.
