I have been working at iSoftStone

    Pros

iSoftStone is a very laid back work environment. It never feels like your manager is breathing down your neck or constantly hovering over your shoulder making sure you are getting stuff done. You can basically work at your own pace as long as you finish your work.

    Cons

iSoftStone does not have a clear compensation plan. It seems like they will throw money at random people to get them in the door, but forget about their more long term employees in the process.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire a 3rd party consultant or have the HR team create a clear compensation plan. Make sure that salaries are based on compensable factors. This means that two people doing the same work with the same title and that have the same backgrounds should be making close to the same wage. I can't say that this is evident in the current system (or lack thereof).
