I have been working at j2 Global full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Fast past and vibrant environment to work in. You work will people from all around the global, the work is varied and interesting.

Cons

Lack of interest from some people within senior management. Sometimes you can feel like you do not have the support you need in order to progress the job you are trying to complete.

Engage with people at all levels of the business

    Pros

    The company cared about its interns
    CEO was accessible and friendly
    Offered intern events to get to know each other better

    Often worked alone which was boring
    Pay could be better for a software development internship

    Continue to offer the intern events during the summer. They were fun and helpful and added to the overall experience

    Benefits are good, Often provides free food

    Cons

    Commission structure gets adjusted yearly to avoid sales rep to make more money. bonuses and accelerators were removed , but increased monthly goal, kept decelerators, call volume has decline to do customer service activating account, and sending sales calls over sea’s. morale is low with the exception of new reps which were not exposed to previous commission structures that allowed high earnings. Commission structure is awful, it does not allow you to take days off or vacation days because you will not hit goal and get docked 25 to 50 percent of pay

    change commsion structure it will make a big difference, Reg sales reps would like to be take out occasionally like corp reps
