Small stores with mostly friendly coworkers.

    Flexible schedule-for the most part

    Cons

No commission for selling expensive product while having to maintain daily/weekly/monthly sales goals.

    Corporate seems disorganized

    Lame, uninspiring product.

Everyone asks if the yoga pants are see through...

I worked at lucy Activewear full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Work life balance, Compensation, Benefits, Discount, Comfortable work attire. I loved my location since we closed at 6pm in the fall/winter and 7pm in spring/summer. Had a great store manager and my coworkers were freaking awesome as well. Lucy seems to be headed in the right direction especially with Lulu not doing so well and Nike offering cheaper quality clothing. This has to be one of my favorite jobs due to my coworkers and hours. You cant beat getting off at 6pm during Christmas for a retail job.

    Cons

My DM....I hated her with every bone in my body. HR didn't really help with the fact that she blatantly discriminated against people that were overweight. Besides my DM being a total beyotch and HR being clueless as to how to manage harassment and discrimination cases, the only other issue was the fact that Lucy is alienating their core customer with the new younger and hipper items. I love it but their core customer base isn't 25 and when you eradicate your core customer theres a 50 50 chance that you will bring in a new customer to replace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train HR on how to deal with issues and remember your customer instead of trying to keep up with Lululemon.
