I worked at mSpot full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Some of the employees are awesome, smart and fun. They company has done some cool stuff in the industry, though a lot of it is rather me-too and not so innovative.

    Cons

Upper management is horrible. Expect no clear direction and pass aggressive behavior. Also, direction can change in a heartbeat and unrealistic expectations are just dumped in your lap and you just have to get it done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to communicate and manage people effectively. There is no way to improve if you rely on being passive aggressive instead of real honest and open feedback.

I have been working at mSpot full-time

    Pros

Because of Samsung, the projects have excellent consumer reach. There's also free food catered twice a week.

    Cons

Be prepared to give up your life and "perpetual crisis", Samsung's management philosophy. Very little to no value is placed on the employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't expect to retain top talent with the way things are run. There are lots of other options in the bay area.

    No opinion of CEO
