    Would not recommend for anyone who wants to grow and learn on their job.

    Pros

    The work environment and people are friendly.

    Cons

    The development team is only a small speck in the company - and that may be the reason it is fairing so badly:
    - No processes followed by the development team.
    - Big disconnect between product management and product development team.
    - No documentation/specification/time estimates.
    - No one seems to want to get up and improve things.
    - Hap hazard build and release plans.

    I worked at mindSHIFT

    Pros

    There was paycheck every two weeks.

    Cons

    Projects were very badly managed causing a lot of customer dissatisfaction.
    Mindshift would never hire additonal staff when needed either in tech support, NOC, or account management positions.
    Training for new employees was almost inexistent.
    Customer billing and contracts were very unprofessional and noone seems to know how to make things better.
    There is very little ownership of problems and a lot of blaming that goes on in this company.
    Senior management is clueless on how to improve process.
    All process at the company is so ad hoc and the internal systems used to track customer information is antiquated.
    Lots of disorganized systems used internally that need to be replaced.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Listen to the employees that actually do the real work here. Try listening to the people who pay your bills; your customers. Attempt to be honest to your customers and don't oversell the mindshift product offering.
