Pros

Salesforce.com pays well.
They're good when it comes to telecommuting. Most employees there are able to telecommute at least part time if not full-time.
It's really nice to work there if you live in San Francisco, since the SF office is located right next to all forms of public transportation.

Cons

Too much nepotism and too large a percentage of new grads have resulted in many positions, including *key* positions being filled by inexperienced/unqualified people.

Too many processes, too much focus on building out and observing processes..gets in the way of getting the job done...can be extremely frustrating...

Too much middle management, some teams have more than one manager.

Too many "initiatives" and "mandates" from the top down, with little or no direction on how to accomplish/fulfil the initiative/mandate.

ZERO work-life balance.

Advice to Senior Management

Work with those directly below you, give direction, not just mandates..so that those below you can be effective in their jobs. Show employees that you understand that working smarter is better and more efficient than working harder.
