salesforce.com Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in San Francisco, CA: (Current Employee)

Pros

Challenging work environment. Constantly churning out products that are actually used. Surrounded by smart people with big egos (which is not good always i.e the ego part)

Cons

Highly political environment. Contributions are not always rewarded.Sometimes managers contradict themselves within a day especially if it is around how promotions are handled

Advice to Senior Management

Be more transparent

Totally agree on egos.. this place takes the cake for people who really shouldnt beat their chest, however if you arent beating your chest in sfdc, you will never survive. This is a very Orwellian enviornment.
