Pros

Great hours, fun people, understanding team leaders, employee benefits are affordable, and promotion opportunities are fair. You really cannot beat the flexibility to work from home.

Cons

Dependent healthcare is not covered by TNI at all, as a single mom, this has made it impossible for me to put my son on my insurance. $11 an hour is not enough if you have to pay for other family members healthcare. That is my only real complaint with TNI. You show up, do the work and be nice and its a good place to get your start in IT.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please find a way to help the costs of health insurance for at least children. It would really help a lot.

    Pros

    teleNetwork provides a flexible schedule with a merit-based promotion system. Promotions can come quick if you are tech savvy and perform well. You have the possibility of benefits after working full-time for six months. This is a huge plus as benefits are rare for call center work. They provide the option of working from home and that saves on commute expenses. They do not conduct lay-offs.

    Cons

    The pay starts at a lower than market rate. Dealing with difficult or angry customers can become tedious. Work from home is a full time only position. Can be a sharp learning curve for some.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    A higher pay scale would help with retention. The lunch / break system needs to be analyzed and reworked. Healthier options in the snack machines.

    Pros

    Company culture is unique and comfortable. Fun environment to work in. Upward mobility within company structure is encouraged. Team structure and good communication throughout. All management has an open door policy to hear comments or suggestions.

    Cons

    Pay is lower than comparable companies. Tools are not as compact and easy to use as they probably could be.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    More anonymous technician surveys to ensure that the needs of the employees are being met adequately. More investigation of current policy to make sure it still meets the growing company needs and expectations.
