Current Employee - Senior Technical SSupport Engineer  in  Pune (India)
Current Employee - Senior Technical SSupport Engineer in Pune (India)

I have been working at vCustomer full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Moving from Semi technical process to Technical Voice process and then to chat process. An achievement that of a person with no technical education background only on pure work experience

Cons

The salary is based on the incentive structure and that keeps changing more frequently and that effects the overall performance

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be more interaction from the senior management with the operation department. This will improve more transparency with an open environment

    Pros

if u desire to be grab a lot from the management and the environment it's really gud at VCUSTOMER but it is not to that heights and not the best one i saw ever...management needs to improve still

    Cons

chuglibaazi and politics is in the veins of the company...moreover i had voice process so not to much independence...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

be straight forward and keep other department also in control, use manpower more at peak times not more stress on regular employees

Great company ruined by pathetic leadership and a sleeping CEO

    I worked at vCustomer

    Pros

    1) Good for freshers, infact one of the few to hire freshers
    2) Some really good technical processes to work for

    Cons

    1) Leadership team is pathetic, inexperienced to deal with "real" issues and lacks any sort of vision whatsoever. Most of them have grown from the ranks but hardly gained any real knowledge....more inclined towards looking at their own growth opportunities.
    2) Ineffective and a sleeping CEO. What started as a brilliant startup 10 yrs ago is going to end as a sick company in a few months from now.
    3) Salary package is too low compared to competitors, there's nothing the senior management wants to do to stop the highly alarming level of attrition.
    4) Hasty and immature decisions to open multiple branches in Pillipines and Egypt with no real backing from existing clients nor prospects.
    5) Entering the domestic market without any sort of financial and operational planning was the WORST decision the company could have ever taken,
    6) Average tenure of top execs (Center head, country head, COO, Sr. Directors etc) is less than 6 months - this highlights the state of the company's future planning.
    7) Overall, a good company for freshers to gain some experience (that too at the lowest level) but definitely not a place for the experienced lot.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1) Hire Top execs and keep them atleast for 2-3 years so that your company gets a decent goal statement.
    2) Work towards the "Employee first" initiative rather than just stating it as one of your missions.
    3) A good BD team who can rope in a few international clients should perhaps be the "First Item" on your immediate actions list.

    Disapproves of CEO
