Pros – I like the people at this company, they are honest, smart and fun. The company is growing, so as expected there are growing pains, but if you do your job well they appreciate you and you know it. I think the management team is very fair, if you have a concern or an idea, they listen and act on it if they can. The management team is making lots of changes, including adding a ton of training that anyone can attend. They also have happy hours once a month, a holiday party, and other family friendly events. Not sure why the folks above don't think there is enough communication, at the monthly all hands meeting there is almost TOO much communication, as the meetings go over an hour sometimes! They tell you all about the revenue, goals, new clients, etc.
Cons – Smaller company so they don't have the perks of larger Management Consulting firms. They also ask for an average of 45 hours a week, but I know for a fact that big consulting firms expect MUCH more than that.

I worked at Enaxis Consulting full-time
Pros – Contract opportunities with Houston's oil and gas players. Good place to start your career if you're undecided about where you're going
Cons – Most opportunities are staff augmentation. Bonus percentage is not 10% as pitched if you ever take a day off. Marketing processes still being developed, lack on internal synergies amongst staff, trust and a den of dishonesty and lies, catering to those who thrive in such cut throat back stabbing environments. Hire turnover rate, revolving door, most people just stay for a short while then leave.
Advice to Senior Management – Revamp internal ethical practices, marketing, pay, training and retention. Perhaps hiring a consultant company to identify and assess why people never stay and execute their recommended changes.

I have been working at Enaxis Consulting full-time for more than a year
Pros – * Good client base - good for making contacts
* No/limited travel (rare for consulting)
* Do your job, keep your head down, and you will be left alone
Cons – * Low pay for industry / owners getting rich
* Bonus plans are weak / benefits the owners
* Like most places, very political
Advice to Senior Management – * Re-evaluate industry standard pay
* Just be honest and admit what you are (pimps that pimp out consultants) instead of a pretend "family" where wealth is distributed evenly

I worked at Enaxis Consulting
Pros – Enaxis Consulting is a great place to work if you are in a Consultant/Analyst/Project Manager or essentially a Management Consultant with a background in IT, Telecom, Process and Organization Change Management, Program and Project Management, and or Outsourcing Advisory. Enaxis Consulting is a great place for growth and development, opportunities to work with/consult Fortune 500 companies, and contribute to meaningful projects while enhancing the organization itself. Enaxis welcomes ideas and promotes knowledge management in a way that fosters growth and a team environment!
Cons – If you are not working within the organizations key revenue producing fields, the opportunities are limited.
Advice to Senior Management – To allow everyone an opportunity to grow. The employment relationship is a two-way concept, what the employee can do for the company AND what the company can do for the employee.

I have been working at Enaxis Consulting
Pros – Smart people on teams, interesting clients and projects
Cons – leadership has a tendency to 'avoid' bad news to staff, making things worse instead of facing them directly
Advice to Senior Management – Keep things simple and fix interal processes as you grow the client base

I worked at Enaxis Consulting
Pros – - Small firm, gets to know everyone, rather than just being a number
- Excellent coworkers
- Interesting projects to work on
Cons – - During economic hardship, decided to cut people's salary by 50% but still expecting them to be happy and put in 45 hrs a week. Meanwhile, one of the owners was buying a new 5,000 sq ft house in Bellaire City.
- Extremely political. Promotion/project placement are based on whether the leadership likes the person, not the capabilities.
- Cheap. Terrible/non-existent internal training and no external training offered (unless you are well connected).
- Very negative work environment where management only pretends to care about the wellbeing of employees. Have heard the owner said: "we pay them enough for them not to complain."
- Pays at 40hr/week but expects everyone to bill 45hrs a week to the client. The "up to" 10% bonus is suppose to compensate for the extra hours, but management finds any reason not to give it out. Examples include taking vacation/sickness (counts against total utilization if you take time off), not on a project, or that they just don't like you.
Hostile work environment where someone might yell at you for little reason. Or be extremely nice and then turn around and back stab you. Basically, in order to work/survive the place, bring in your own project or kiss up to the leadership.
