    Pros

    - Good benefits package - Flexible Time Off - Generous bonuses when the company meets/exceeds goals - Many people have stuck around for decades or eventually come back if they leave for "greener pastures"

    Cons

    - Despite posting very strong revenues and profits, management is still taking cost-cutting to the extreme - Poor communication between management and the "rank and file" - Not very supportive of flexible work-life balance unless you are somehow special to the company

    Pros

Wonderful culture of collaboration and synergy. I think its because the work is so unique and many times hasn't been done before, that there has to be a dependency on each persons strengths. Very horizontal leadership, not many layers. They invest in training and self development. Bright future and solid past.

    Cons

Health Benefits are good but not as good as my previous employer. Some of the on-line training is outdated.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to take a stand and put structure and clear expectations in to place. Best practices can be made into standards. Then variations can be still allowed and measured.

  3. Helpful (1)

Belligerent Plant Managers, racism conflicts, NAACP, several EEOC complaints are ongoing. Lawsuits for discrimination.

    Pros

Some of the best people to work with. Co-workers are helpful and kind.

    Cons

Sell Sell Sell is the motto for VPs. Company wide, employees are overworked and understaffed. There are favorites who get more resources and pick of task selection.

    Advice to Management

If Gregg Sage was to become aware of some of the decision making by the VPs and directors heads would roll. Instead we have let some good employees walk.

    Pros

If your fresh out of college, you'll blend right in. Any Standard Operating Procedures? Why have those just make them up as they go. Then wonder why everyone is everyone is confused daily. Great place to work by doing as thou wilt.

    Cons

Enclos has potential to continue good success, but like most companies they are committed to organized chaos.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great freedom of thinking.

    Pros

Good starting salary. Large interesting project base. Always a very diverse crowd of co-workers that can teach you a lot. They tell you to watch out for the union workers cause they can be "tough", but they are the ones that will take you under your wing and really teach you the ropes rather than the Enclos employees whom are supposed to do so.

    Cons

Terrible management, Given no opportunity to succeed or show talents. Plays favorites. Too much to write for this synopsis. If you are a green horn then you are deemed useless, therefor never given responsibility and projects that allow you to succeed. Move to a new location every 2 years, very unstable life style. Amount of time spent in each location is never pre-determined. If you dont have a family, or ever plan on having a spouse or children, then you should like it.

    Advice to Management

Provide actual supervision of the employees and make decisions up for yourselves about people rather than word of mouth. Provide actual help rather than just saying "you'll be ok". Show new employees the ropes so they are not lost and then given a bad review because they aren't "performing well" when they never had the opportunity.

    Pros

Great place to work with laid back personalities. Everyone is very friendly and promotes a fun atmosphere to work in. The work keeps you busy and can be interesting from time to time. The room for new ideas and research and development seems to be vast.

    Cons

Many of its small company aspects are great, however provides less flexibility in choosing a wide variety of career paths. It is a job were it could be easy to be stagnant for a long period of time.

    Advice to Management

I think that the some more radical technologies should be looked into for future applications. I believe structuring a career path could be a helpful method of encouraging employees to continue to work hard and stay interested.

  11. Enclos Corp

    I worked at Enclos

    Pros

They pay you relatively well, and union workers are very down to earth who you work with.

    Cons

Very strict, a lot of credit only goes to "top dogs" leaving others in the dust unrecognized of their achievements, Direct boss generally does not see the work you do, it is usually word of mouth spread through company. "clicky". if your personality does not fit in right away than it is tough.

    Advice to Management

Work more directly with subordinates looking to rise up within the company
