Pros

If you are young and like people this is a good place to get a first job / part time or seasonal job. You have to work hard, but if you do you will have a dozen people as character or working references for life! I enjoyed this place and would return if I needed a job for awhile.

Cons

You can't sit down while you are working. There are opportunities to have a short break, but you will be standing a lot. Trash, Cooler stocking, Sandwich making, and Store Cleaning are all in your job description! They are willing to make accommodations if you have health or physical limitations, but just remember that your co-workers and managers will be picking up the slack, which means you need to work hard on your end too. The only real problem happens when computers go down and you are sent back to the stone age. And when Co workers quit unexpectedly.

Advice to Senior Management

It would be nice if we were allowed to sit more often. 8 hour shifts, day after day are brutal on the feet and back.

I don't believe upper management knows how this manager unfairly treats the employees.

Pros

Usually a liberal atmosphere, unless someone has an inflated personality. Changing your schedule is usually easy, and corporate people rarely interfere.

Cons

Low pay. Little chance for advancement. People are treated like they are stupid.

Your employees are not your pets. You need to offer pay raises in sooner than a whole year, especially since they start at minimum wage.
