I worked at Enova full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

They really tried to make a large call center seem smaller.

    Cons

Upper management is a little out of touch. They need to be on site in Gurnee and not in Chicago

I have been working at Enova full-time

    Pros

Awesome place to jump start your career. Not much room to grow when I started, fairly flat organization. I know many that stuck around and have done very well. Flexible work from home policy.

    Cons

No where to go, nepotism fueled that former startup-like environment.

    PAYDAY LOANS. Culture of denial.

I have been working at Enova

    Pros

Decent pay, at least till temporary (!) manager who disliked me was given jurisdiction of annual reviews. Flexible schedules. Decent PTO if you're actually able to take it.

    Cons

Culture of denial. Limited opportunity for meaningful advancement. HR lied to avoid resolving a crucial conflict. Disrespect for hourly employees and a visible "caste system" (classism more than racism). High turnover, especially in tech ops which results in abandoned projects, broken systems that don't get fixed (reliance on workarounds that don't work), and poor response to requests for assistance. People seem to "fail upwards" based on how effectively they kiss butts. Willfully oblivious upper management. Decisions motivated by profits rather than customer service. PAYDAY LOANS, people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get your heads out of the sand. Think about the "little people," both the ones you employ and the customers whose desperation pays your mortgages.

Good place to start with great diversity. Geared towards millenials and gen x-ers.

I have been working at Enova full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Non traditional career path, core values decent compensation great perks for corporate employees. Alternative schedules and the opportunity to interact with international markets is great.

    Cons

Most managers lack experience and professionalism that is spread like a virus in the call center. Greater focus on the training and rewards for the ground level employees is key and obsolete. Rodents and bed bugs plague current location.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to avoid professional nepotism and embrace true professional standards if it means stepping on a few toes or severing them.

I have been working at Enova full-time

    Pros

Schedules are flexible. The mentality is to get the work done. Normal non-value added work place rules are not emphasized much here.

    Cons

upward mobility is kinda limited. Transitioning from a tech start-up to an established organization without losing the culture and talents is a big challenge for the senior management
