    Pros

Fun working environment and great people. Paul Nahi is a excellent President and CEO. Good benefits and location.

    Cons

Company brings product to market too quickly and has hired too rapidly. Lay offs are occurring and morale is low currently.

    Advice to Management

Smarter growth is a better sign of success.

    Pros

Great atmosphere Excellent ideas Solid benefits package

    Cons

In general, Enphase is a good place to work. Having grown with the company it is interesting to see small issues blowing up into huge problems, all because of small company thinking.

    Advice to Management

May be time to uproot the old guard...

Solid Technology. Good People. You need to be "all in"

I have been working at Enphase Energy full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Smart, motivated employees. Good products. Overall good culture. Some really good managers. (some not so much!) Bold risk takers. Innovative. Lots of change.

    Cons

Culture could use some work so everyone fits in and can perform at 100%. They could do a better job of living their goals especially the one called "respect". Despite the massive amounts of great people who share the vision, the oddest thing is if you aren't Director or above, you aren't worthy. There aren't too many entry level jobs and very little opportunity outside the inner circle to move laterally or upwardly. (So if you are not in, you still can have a job you like and be good at it, but no future and no appreciation)

    Advice to Management

Please get out of your comfort zone. "Like Me" is a weakness. The old saying "The whole is greater than the sum of the parts" is deserving of action. If someone doesn't look, walk, talk or act a certain way doesn't mean they can't make huge contributions. It just means the vision of what a "fit" is too narrow... if defined at all. Set definitions for what qualified for promotion because there are no rules and one person sitting next to another doing similar jobs are titled differently. Listen, unfiltered, to your first line managers. You would probably be surprised at what's working and what's not and the ideas you would get to fix a lot of small things that would end up with increased overall operationally efficiency. Consider an incentive for cost reduction. 10% of first year savings directly back to employee.

I have been working at Enphase Energy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Highly innovative products. -Few of very smart people working on new product concepts. -Nice office space and surrounding.

    Cons

-Lack of trust, collaboration, and knowledge transfer within Petaluma hardware development and CTO teams. -Unrealistic expectations, especially in terms of product cost and project schedule. -No promotion within, keep adding the manager -Many smart PhD engineers outside the research department are mostly underutilized. -Disconnected departments

I worked at Enphase Energy full-time

    Pros

For being located in Petaluma, it has a surprising Silicon Valley Start-Up feel, Great, hard working people, beautiful, open, modern, and sustainable office (has charging stations for hybrids and solar panels on the roof) , and warm and welcoming office culture. I worked in the Recruiting/HR department and I am truly grateful to my former department for supporting me and going above and beyond to advocate for me. The Receptionist, is an amazing, wonderful person and she sets an amazing tone to all who enter. She is truly an asset and a shining beacon to Enphase. I miss walking into work to her greeting every morning.

    Cons

Some departments are somewhat of a drain to the upbeat culture of other departments (few negative people in the mix). Lacking in age diversity

I have been working at Enphase Energy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great product, has been around for almost 10 years. I think the world of Solar should follow the technology of Enphase

    Cons

Management is poor, they may have been ok up until now but I don't think they can take the company to the next level. It shows in the stock pricing.

    Advice to Management

Time to switch mid to upper management.

I have been working at Enphase Energy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Enphase test program showed the company to have excellent people, professional company, Great benefits.

    Cons

That it was a a good field pilot program. It did it's job, exposing areas of opportunity for solidifying existing distribution.

    Advice to Management

The same idea could still be used,, but marketing in support of all Enphase dealers. Utilization of the local Solar Org lead distribution could be the vehicle, limited to Enphase dealers only. Everyone wins.
