Current Employee – been working at Entegris as a contractor for more than 3 years
Pros – Friendly environment and safety issues above standard industry average
Cons – If hired as a temp the best choice is to find another alternative because this company takes 2+ years before they hire you for permanent position, no matter how best you work and sacrifice yourself for the good of the company
Advice to Senior Management – give your employees and temporary associates more opportunities, growth starts from within.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Entegris full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Strong marketshare position in the market
Cons – Similar to the industry, people are not even a partial focus of this company . Entegris is driven by a conservative financial model, which is the basis and justification of all decisions. Organization is very flat, resulting in very limited opportunities for career growth .

Former Employee – worked at Entegris as a contractor for less than a year
Pros – Very good people to work with.
Cons – I was an excellent employee but just a "temp". I had little chance of being hired as permanent.
They hire(d) many temps to get them through the busy periods.
Advice to Senior Management – Respect and hire on the good workers.

Current Employee – been working at Entegris
Pros – Most co workers are trying to make a difference. Most co workers are trying to help each other. Some managers are trying to steer the behemoth in the right direction.
Cons – For the readers to vote on.......
Board holds management feet to fire, or it is a Good Old boy's network?
Management is Tactical or Strategic?
Mini BUs / Silos have created efficiencies or created inefficiencies and loss of cohesion?
In an election, would you vote to keep majority of directors, VPs, GM, C level executives, or oust them?
If you were a hiring manager, would you hire majority of the management on your team?
Is the company a collection of mini BU's doing their own thing or is ita genuinely 1 Billion dollar company?
Are beenies like stock awards being confined at too hogh a level, do all desserving people get them?

Current Employee – been working at Entegris
Pros – Communication with management and an overall great work environment. Low stress.
Cons – Mundane projects and a Helpdesk that isn't very helpful. Helpdesk moved overseas and the user experience with IT has suffered. Causing the usual qualms between regular users and IT.
Advice to Senior Management – Communication on company growth and the future of the company as a whole. Often it feels like the roller coaster ride of the stock market controls everything at the company.

Former Employee – worked at Entegris
Pros – The salary was competitive and there were many challenges to overcome. The health benefits were fair.
Cons – The company continues to lose revenue and jobs. People are constantly afraid of the next layoff. They senior managers get big stock blocks of options and the rest of the workforce gets a pink slip.
Advice to Senior Management – Be willing to step up and guarantee some type of long term employment to your people. Yes, not job is permanent any more but with so many layoffs, the rank n file has lost faith in you.
