Details
Pros
Get a foot in the door for other opportunities, such as working for the Government. Also the customers that the contract employees technically work for are super, which results in low turnover at the client site.
Cons
This is a small business with an owner who is not attuned to American Business practices. He thinks the contracts that he holds are for the purposes of enriching his personal fortune, period. He is always looking to save money, not to reinvest it for further growth. He changes his HR practices on a whim - there is no stability with this company!! The owner also tends to micromanage and function as an office manager. He has approximately 80% turnover in corporate staff.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep the CEO out of the office!
