    Pros

It's one of the few places where I was treated with respect as a person and as an employee. Management really seemed to care about their people, and really engaged you in the day to day workings.

    Cons

Like most radio companies, change was a constant thing, and being laid off could happen more often than you would like.

    Pros

Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Willing to teach and explain why things are done they way they are.

    Cons

My internship originally started in the Promotions department and there were 5 interns and not enough work, so I ended up moving my internship to the Graphic Design department.

    Advice to Management

Accept interns by the amount of work you will be able to give them.

Large company, focussed, competitive environment, high quality management.

    Cons

Fragmented, little movement across the company, too result oriented at times which made them forget their people.

    Pros

The culture at Entercom embraces both the employee and the employee's family. Entercom acknowledges and rewards performance. There are excellent career opportunities within Entercom. From a compensation standpoint, Entercom is very competitive. Senior management is actively involved in market operations and is responsive to the needs of the markets.

    Cons

More micro-management than warranted at times.

    Advice to Management

Lighten up a little. Recognize that the media world is changing rapidly and in order to recruit the best and brightest you need to redefine your organizational structure from that of a traditional media company to a new media enterprise.

    Pros

I enjoyed that atmosphere and the people I worked with. The training on social media was incredible. The company has great values and goals. Defiantly one of the best experience I have had in radio.

    Cons

I was part time filling in on a full time position with hopes that it would blossom into full time. Nothing paned out. Management had hopes that they would have something for me but that did not pan out. Sadly I had to move on. In that short time I took the midday show from zero to #1 Leaving Entercom Indy was probably the saddest day of my career.

    Advice to Management

No advise really. I would love to return to work again for Entercom in full time position. Classy company.
