Current Employee – been working at Entergy Texas

Pros – Nice work life balance, pension plan,retiree health plan, good upper management, ethical and safe company, good vacation 2 weeks to start off 3 weeks in 5 yrs and 4 weeks in 15 yrs plus 3 personal days. Good people in the company also laid back, do your work but also have fun.

Cons – Hard to move up, there is too much bureaucracy, lsu graduates are treated as gold others arent. Not many desirable locations to work and live such as ms la arkansas.

Advice to Senior Management – More oppurtunities for employees to move around different jobs and departments. Some mentoring system needed. Some departments think of their departments not the company as a whole
