    Pros

They are very flexible and work with you to create a schedule that works for you. There is excellent opportunity for advancement and the bonuses are great as well.

    Cons

Its very hectic and fast-paced. There are alot of out of control customers that can work your nerves so you really have to have thick skin.

    Advice to Management

To keep doing exactly what you are.

I worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as an intern

    Pros

They promote completely from within so everyone understands what its like to work 12 hours days in a suit. Great corporate culture, they love to give back to the community. They offer great incentives to be successful in sales.

    Cons

12 hour days in a suit while you're outside a good amount.

Current Employee - Assistant Branch Manager in Atlanta, GA
    Approves of CEO

    Pros

good starter job out of college, learned a lot about the business world and simple transaction sales and the importance of customer service

    Cons

long hours, dealing with pissed off people about their cars being in the shop all day, most people are not going to be happy with the rental cars, pressure to "run tight" which means having almost all of your cars on rent giving customers little choice to which cars they can rent or having nothing at all for your reservations, constant movement amongst branches, don't expect to work at one branch longer than 3-4 months until you get a management position

    Advice to Management

you went through the same jobs, you know the stress your people are under to perform, just reward a job well done every once in a while instead of stressing and continually shifting the goals for the branch. when a branch hits their goals it's okay to give a pat on the back, not say "well now I know you can do this, so this is expected of you now" also, not everyone is a high energy cheerleader douche, don't ask me to "fake it" to appear more motivated.

    Pros

It's easy to get on the fast track and get promoted quickly. You learn a lot about running a business. The company as a whole is very fair and is genuinely interested in the well being of their employees and customers.

    Cons

It is a lot of hours. I average 55 plus on a light week and almost 70 when there is a lot going on. The pay is not as high as I would like it to be for practically living at work.

    Advice to Management

Pay your people more. It's great that the company operates on a pay per performance mentality but it would be nice to see a higher percentage off the bottom line.

    Pros

Learn the business from the ground up.

    Cons

You eventually burn out or they find ways to get rid of you.

    Advice to Management

Provide more training to level 3 employees. Especially with changing economic time and workforce. Screen employees better before the make it to the second interview.

    Pros

Fantastic You do wash and rent cars and deal with a ton of stressful situations, including crazy customers and running out of cars, but you gain alot of transferrable experience. You also get tons of recognition and most coworkers are nice and fun.

    Cons

The hours are long and the pay isn't the best.

    Advice to Management

ERAC is truely a fun and friendly place where teamwork rules

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Overall Great Sales Experience Entertaining work environment Young Co-Workers Management is usually understanding when you need to take off weekends

    Cons

Terrible Hours Terrible Customers Having to sell insurance to people who don't need it Washing cars in the middle of summer is dress clothes

    Advice to Management

Please start advocating branches helping each other out, The current system of branches, especially out of state branches, refusing to help each other out with customers in bad cars is ridiculous.
